Fake church to avoid vaccination

Post by Yankee » Wed Jan 28, 2015 11:32 am

This makes my blood boil a little bit. I'm already frustrated by parents who put their children, and others, at risk by refusing to vaccinate - resulting in outbreaks of whooping cough and measles. Well it turns out that the Australian Vaccination Skeptics Network has registered a fake church for the sole purpose of making it easier for parents to claim a religious exemption - you only need to pay $25 to join.

On a related note, did you hear that there's been an outbreak of measles at Disneyland? Not exactly the happiest place on earth at the moment.
