I think weaning is happening very soon.

DS2 was having night and morning. 4 days ago, I cut out the night. This morning, he woke up and asked for breakfast. No boobies. I will see what happens tomorrow, but this could be it.

Less than 4 months until I feed a newborn though.
DS1: May 09 Breastfed 2y7m
DS2: Oct 2012 Breastfed 2y1m I am pretending he is weaned
DD: Feb 2015

ditto...how are you feeling about having a possible short break from feeding?

I am happy about it. I have had awful aversion and need a break.

It sounds like a good outcome for both of you. I hope he really is ready to move on, and that you enjoy a bit of a break before the little one arrives!

We have weaned. No feeds since Monday AM. He does not even care.

I am slightly sad that we did not go longer but happy that the excruciating discomfort is over and my boy is happy with things. Yay!!!!
