Cluster feed and cat napping trauma

Post by Newmamma40 » Tue Feb 23, 2016 5:51 pm

My new baby goes into terminal loops of nonstop feeding and cat napping as she won't let me put her down? I've read loads of posts about normal etc but it's brining me to my knees. Does anyone have any survival strategies? She was born early and underweight, but is now gaining back and doing really well with her weight gain. It's just the 4 or 5 hrs daily that stops us in our tracks and reduces me to a crying mess??

Is it about the same time every day? Might be the arsenic hour. Which goes on for longer than an hour, sadly. There should be some info about it on the main ABA site. You can see if it rings any bells?

Good luck!

Carrier? Walk outside? Give her to dad/someone else and how a shower while she grizzles, knowing you'll feed her again soon? Hugs. It is really hard. No magic solution except time.
