please delete my profile

Post by JC » Sun Jul 08, 2012 11:16 pm

I've had some lovely times here; but I'd like to have my profile information deleted please. Internet privacy is moving in a direction that's leaving me uncomfortable. Thanks mods, thanks everyone!

JC, I'm sorry to see you go as well. We've journeyed together over some pretty rocky places, and I have taken inspiration and learnt a lot from you. I don't think an ordinary mod has the power - it needs to be an admin. And from what I understand, I don't think that your posts can be permanently removed, just your profile shut down permanently. I'll try to get a message to an admin for you today, and shall I get them to PM you to clarify?

Thanks for your nice comments!

Maybe I should chat with an admin member about what I'm wanting. My main aim is to move forward with most of my online activity under an obscured IP address. I think I've figured out how to do it at home, and I believe I'll need to take up a new profile here to make the break.

Bailey's Mum, a PM from an admin would be great.

Did you get one, JC? I've been offline since I posted this. If it helps, my hubby uses an IP blocker for his security concerns - it selects IP at random whenever it is turned on. I can ask him what program he uses if that would help you out.

Thanks for asking. I have tor but it's slow. I'm still figuring out what to do and have been posting, not quite ready to delete my account after all.

Not sure what DH's prog is called, but the icon is a classic spy cartoon - a bloke in a hat, dark glasses, overcoat, etc.
