Current bushfire threat

Those caring for formula fed infants and preparing for a possible evacuation due to bushfire threat in Australia may need emergency supplies of food for their baby. Consider packing two days worth of supplies for a situation where you do not have access to unlimited clean water and power. This would involved as many ready to feed liquid formula tetra packs as the number of feeds your baby would need (s/he may need more than usual in extreme heat), as many disposable feeding containers as feeds (feeding bottles and teats cannot be adequately cleaned when water is limited)- if you don't have enough bottles for each feed, disposable plastic cups can be used. 500ml of water for each feed for hand washing and cleaning preparation surfaces and cutting implement. A roll of paper towel for hand drying and cleaning preparation surface. Detergent for hand, cutting implement and surface cleaning. Scissors or a sharp knife for cutting open tetra packs. Antibacterial wipes for cleaning hands and cutting implement. It's a good idea to put al of these resources in a sealable plastic container.
