Isabelle didn't either! I SO wanted that photo but she wasn't interested! She was the next day though so I have photos when she wa 366 days old! :)

I made a teddy bear cake for her 1st birthday but I'm on my laptop at my folks at the moment and don't have the photo - will post when I get home. Isabelle turns 2 in just under a month (I can't believe it!) and I have NO idea what I'm going to make this year.

Love the clown cake! :)

Owen LOVED eating his cake - he learnt the word 'cake' very quickly for his second birthday. He thought cakes were corncakes up until then! :-D

BTW it wasn't really shiny - just the flash on the camera made it look really glossy.

I havent made any for DS as yet, it's always been a really bad time in our lives, this year I'm planning something big, but not sharing yet!!!

This is the last cake I made, it was for my friend's son for his first birthday. And yes, winnie the pooh is completely made out of icing, except for a few toothpicks and stuff to add a bit of strength. I did bob the builder a few months ago for my other friend's son for his second birthday, but haven't got a pic of that one yet.

I can in all honesty say that the moon cake was yummo.....I was at Angela's daughter's birthday party....

I'm a boring mummy...Katie hasn't had a birthday party....We've only had family get togethers and mum usually makes a yummy banana cake....

Just for you shannon, I even rotated it up the right way for you :-D
pooh is made from fondant icing, with ice cream wafers for wings. I tried to do a normal pooh, but couldn't get the red the way I wanted, so went for one dressed up as a bee instead. The tree stump is two cakes sandwich'd with buttercream, with flakes as the bark. I also drizzled some honey into the pot and on his hand before we served him, as we knew that none of the babies were going to be eating him, just the cake part.
