So I may not be top of the class on the decluttering front, but I do know that Mrs Moops could use her Allen Key skills to earn the Design Your Own badge, or the Hands badge, or the Home badge or the Life Skills badge!

Lots of decluttering going on here - assisted by the neighbours being away and letting us use their bins - but I'm not up to Penguin's level yet!

I came across my guides handbook today when I was tidying. (No I did not throw it away.) It still calls Life Skills 'Being a Homemaker'.

Does it make you happy to have it? Do you have space? Would someone else get use from it if you were to pass it on?

Yes

Do you have space?
Not really, but it's very subjective. At the moment it's shove in the built in wardrobe in the girls' room which is mostly full of storage boxes

Would someone else get use from it if you were to pass it on?
Probably, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to let it go.

6.5 bags so far. One very big toy that was a gift =3 bags, 1 bag of homewares, 2.5 bags of children's books.

I have about 5 bags or clothes waiting to be donated.

Next on the decluttering is crafts, including yarn and fabric. This is going to be interesting :?

If you are wanting to rehome it to a good cause there is an orgainsation that converts wedding dresses into little dresses for still born children

Today I

* got rid of a 70kg gas heating appliance that we had in our shed for 3 years since we renovated.

* put a whole lot of stuff outside for council clean up

* sorted a whole box of papers and am filing and throwing out

I cleaned out the soft toys and 2 cupboards this weekend.

1 bag soft toys
1 bag towels
2 bags pillows/cushions
2 bags cot sheets, blankets and wraps
1 bag rubbish (paperwork, odd bits and pieces)

7 bags altogether + 7 last week = 14 total.
