Oh! And another 3 bags' worth of assorted items a month or so ago - forgot to add those. So 67 bags is the running total with a day to go.
Not really very near the 100 bags goal I set myself in January, but we're certainly living with a lot less 'stuff'. So that's something! :)

That's a total of 31.5 bags
Another 4.5 bags. Total of 35 bags!

Hubby said if there was a competition here then he'd help me win! I might just pretend there is if he's going to be on board that way!

Nice one!

My kids are finally on board when I remind them they don't use something and happy to send old toys to the op shop/bin. At 7 and 9, just in case anyone is wondering.

Quick!

Can we start a 2017 declutter thread, I was a dismal failure in 2016, but it's time for a new start!

saw a quote the other day which said 'The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now.' I like it a lot.

Oh my gosh, I just read the rules on the new board and released I've been calculating it incorrectly! I've been counting the big black rubbish bags (like the ones you get in the mail box for donatings goods).... no idea what my tally really is! Must be a lot more than 35!!!!! Yaaayyyy!!!!!

(Plus got rid of another 2 plastic shopping bags worth this afternoon)

Another one bag today (cloth nappies) sold, and was picked up this morning.

So 35 Big black bags (anyone know how much that might be in grocery bags? ) plus another 3 grocery bags.

Massive clean out day, more to come.

Lots of cleaning. Wheelie bin full. Cot side removed and move into R's room.

Six bags dropped off, plus a chest of drawers and bedside table to our neighbours- that was a super easy giveaway. I'll count that as one bag per drawer, so eight bags.

67+6+8=81 bags. Pew pew!

The grocery bags measure is a guide, it's only there for you as a motivator - I'm impressed that you've been doing black bags!!

We have a LOT of stuff, and we barely get rid of things, so now I'm changing all that. I've already changed the way I buy things, and I'm dealing with gifts differently too. I still feel I have a long way to go, but feeling better about the direction I'm going.
