I wish

For many reasons, some mothers find themselves being the sole parent of
their child or children. This category is for those who may be full time
solo parents or for those whose partners work away from home for extended
periods of time, and for every solo parenting situation in between!

I wish

Post by Feebes » Wed Oct 15, 2014 9:25 pm

at the moment that I had a partner or just another adult in the house.

I'd love to be able to put more time into ABA etc (esp my studies :( ), but I just can't.

Just having a bler moment, it will pass very soon!

I'd love someone to come and mow my lawns (the backyard is looking like a run down paddock   ), fix big shed door (its not safe and has a big bolt missing), help with loading up the dishwasher and all that sort of stuff.

I'd love someone to just help with folding of the washing and put it away. Not necessary the act of helping, but just the company of another adult while you are doing. I don't mean just an adult, but someone that you can share that stuff with, yanno.

It is just odd how for years being a single parent really didn't bother me, but as time goes on, I am really not liking the single parenting gig.

Hope this has passed for you Feebes - I feel myself in the same position wishing for more support on the home front - As kids get older it doesn't go away, the challenges change.
