Hello fellow solo parents....

For many reasons, some mothers find themselves being the sole parent of
their child or children. This category is for those who may be full time
solo parents or for those whose partners work away from home for extended
periods of time, and for every solo parenting situation in between!

Hello fellow solo parents....

Hello Ladies,

I am at home with a sick child today - no uni for me and obviously no school for him.

How is everyone going?

Life has been busy, but good for us apart from today's gastro.

I am studying full time at uni this year, so I can go out on field placement next semester. So very full on.

The children have settled into year 2 & year 4 at school.

Next Thursday I celebrate 7 years of solo parenting....Time flies when the kids are growing and life is busy :-)
Cheers WA77

I love how positive you are WA77, I'm only 12 months into my solo parent journey with currently 3 and 5 year old girls. Your children must have been incredibly young when you began your journey. I hope I'm as happy, positive and motivated as you when it is 7 years for me! It all just seems so hard right now :(

hi. it's been a couple of months still for me. Also in full time uni, it's hard! At least you dont get in trouble with the boss if you miss a day. Do they provide classes on line? My uni does for lectures, which is quite handy!
