brand new single mum.....

For many reasons, some mothers find themselves being the sole parent of
their child or children. This category is for those who may be full time
solo parents or for those whose partners work away from home for extended
periods of time, and for every solo parenting situation in between!

Once he is put into thier program, he has to be halter started and handled by them and then adopted. I really really want to do all the handling myself. i love his colour, and he came from the same station that my first brumby came from in the N.T. i would love to have him and if i could have him now as a raw unhandled brumby, i wouldn't desitate for a second. but i don't want someone else to do the special work. it's much too important to me.

Do you want him????
I think you and M should share (and I can be a silent partner too 8) )

Thank you so much. Red Mango told me all about the QLD catch up and that she met you and i am very envious!!!

Maybe we can do a vic catch up one day and i will actually be able to come.

Thanks for all the support everyone. i'm going along ok-ish.

The brumbies are expected to arrive on the weekend, so i should be ble to pick them up next week! will keep you all updated. Also finally getting a portable school room that B and i had been trying to get organised for the last 18 months. We have organised and lost so many rooms due to other issues.. and now we hve finally be offered a room that we can have, and the transport company can do it... and he's not here to have the benefit of the room. I know that if we'd had the room 18 months ago like we'd first organised, it would have made a big difference to our relationship. better late than never i guess. So by the end of next week, i should have a whole new school room to be my ABA work place and my sewing/time out studio!!!
YAY :-D

something to look forward to!

Just seeing this and so sorry to hear of your seperation. It is wonderful you have a network of support and your children to help you through this time. Having your upcoming projects will also be a welcome distraction. You are so right that this will only make an already strong person, stronger. Hugs & best wishes.
