Faint positive :D

Post by Lilysmum04 » Fri Jan 10, 2014 6:36 am

Helloooooo.....
So I tested yesterday and this morning and got very faint positive lines! I was due for my period yesterday but woke up feeling murderous with very slightly tender breasts. I thought it was just a bit of pms but called in sick because my eyes wouldn't open properly. Later on I decided to do a test, nothing showed at first and I was about to throw it away when a faint little line appeared. With dd I was a bit further along when I tested because two very distinct lines appeared straight away. Anyway I'll try not to get my hopes up too much (she says as she bounces around the room excitedly) and I will exercise a bit of self control and wait a few days to test (making mental notes to buy another 3 pack of tests and test everyday then line them all up and obsess over clarity of lines).

Please tell me there are others as mad as me :P
Has anyone else had a faint line that turned into a real one?

I had the faintest of faint lines to indicate positive and I dismissed it as a negative result. 3 days later my doctor rang to say my blood tests said positive!!
:) Good luck!!

Congratulations! I had a faint line and excitedly went to the doctor...who used a less sensitive test that showed nothing! But after a few more days my tests had darker lines and then the doctor believed me :-D

The cramping is quite intense now. Doesn't feel like period pain. In fact when I get my period I generally don't have pain at all. :s

Congrats and cramping totally normal, you tend to feel more with subsequent pregnancies.. All the hormones know what they're doing second time round and tend to it faster and harder..

Good luck and sticky dust xx
