hi and thoughts please.

Post by Andypandy » Wed Sep 11, 2013 10:07 pm

Last time, it appears i could not conceive until completely weaning. I would like to start ttc but not weaning as from next month as DS2 will be 1. Basically not using contraception
. I still have not got AF back. If i get pg in the next 6 months, a vaginal birth is off the cards and i am ok with that.

Does this all sound reasonable?

Sounds reasonable to me. I had to wean completely for my cycles to come back so we could TTC #2. Good luck, I hope you don't have to wean completely this time and it happens for you soon!

I had to wean completely to conceive DS2 but with this little one I was still feeding, so anything is possible. Good luck.

Sounds great! My cycles came back both times due to nightweaning. I nightweaned, then went back to night feeding a couple of weeks later, but that was enough to jolt my cycle to make me ovulate....hth and goodluck!! Happy ttc xx

Do you know if you we're ovulating last time?

I was the same as Marie7 - cycles came back after significantly cutting feeds and sleeping longer at night. Then got pregnant pretty quickly (2 periods but only one ovulation) - I ended up temping my cycles cause it was screwing with my head not having periods and therefor not knowing if there was a possibility of being pregnant saved me from doing pregnancy tests every fortnight lol

Very reasonable.

My cycle returned with DS when I cut back feeds, I only cut back due to uni placement. So for a month he was only having a morning, evening and overnight feeds. The no day feeds prompted my cycle into action. He was just 1.

All the best Andy!

Very reasonable! My cycle returned when my son was 13.5 months, no change to his feeding patterns, I guess it just decided to come back

best of luck

I think it sounds good, if you're happy with it. How would you feel if you miscarry again? (Sorry, horrible question, but I guess it's worth thinking about
