Another miscarriage? NO! We have a heartbeat! Update pg 10

Hi girls
Well i got a BFP on Saturday morning. This is this morning's POAS.

Image

But I started bleeding on Thursday, then stopped, then started again on Friday, then stopped, then started Saturday morning and haven't stopped since. I POAS on Saturday morning because the stopping and starting was strange. The POAS this morning was darker than yesterdays and my temp is still up. Its all very wierd. I just wish the bleeding would stop and the BFP get darker or just naturally miscarry. I'm not at all hopeful.

My biggest fear is that the pregnancy is ectopic.

Have a GP appointment on Thursday. Spoke to Healthdirect this morning and they told me to just keep on eye on the bleeding and go to my GP.

ETA Sorry about the size. I used the code on another forum and it was a nice size.

It definitely looks positive to me.

I bled with DS till 16 weeks, with this one I had alot of bleeding at the start to the point I thought it was my period - it lasted on and off for maybe 5 days and would of been around the 4 - 5 week mark.
DS1 - 1st Feb 2009, BF'd 14.5 months

Super hugs from me. Is there any chance you could get into the GP tomorrow instead? They could do a blood test which might give you a better idea of where you are at.

Bed rest!
I has a bleed at 6 weeks and was told to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for a week, sit on the couch and watch videos...
It was the start of a very interesting and roller coaster pregnancy.
Take care of yourself until you get an answer, and also afterwards.
Here is Edward Bear, coming downstairs now, bump, bump, bump, on the back of his head.

Are you having any cramping along with the bleeding at all? With my miscarriage a few weeks ago it hit me like a ton of bricks - I felt like I had been kicked in the back. That was right before the bleeding started and I was pretty sure right from the get go that it wasn't good.

I would def go to the dr in the morning if possible, especially if there is a risk of it being ectopic. Big hugs, I really hope it's a positive outcome for you.

Thanks girls for your hugs and advice. I'm 90mins from my GP, but i do work for another GP on a Tuesday arvo in our small country town so if i'm still unsure whats going on i might see him and see if he can give me a b/test, then hopefully get one in town on Thursday to compare.

Ms Dee, i'm reassured that you had bleeding and a maintained pregnancy. Did they say where the blood came from?

I hate seeing all this blood and wondering whats happening :-(

Hugs for you, that is so hard. Definitely a good idea to get blood tests on Tuesday and Thursday to see if the hormones are going up.

Take care of yourself.

Line is lighter this morning, so definitely miscarrying. I just wish my body would get on with it. Trying not to think about the 'whys?'....
