Are you a big deal on the internet?

Post by Mummy woo! » Wed Jun 04, 2014 10:07 pm

What are you on about Mummy Woo!?
Tshirts are now go!

Oh yay! Where can I get one?
http://abaforumtshirts.deco-apparel.com/

But there are four shirts there, I don't know which one to order?
There are four options
Ladies Tshirt - marked the preferred option is a fabric that will take the print slightly better - $22.46
Ladies Tshirt - a slightly lower cost Tshirt but available in a wider range of sizes $17.96
Ladies Polo (just for Squirrel) $26.96
Kids' Tshirt 'My mum is kind of a big deal on the internet' $22.46

They look awesome, are they awesome?
I haven't checked out the Polo shirt, but Mrs Moops and I are wearing our Tshirts in the avatar. The fabric is nice and soft, and comfy to wear. I haven't washed them yet.

Who is actually printing the Tshirts?
After much hunting around I have found an Australian supplier in sunny Brisvegas.

How does it work?
The printer does drop-shipping. That means they print the Tshirts when they are ordered, and post them directly to you.

Why are the prices a bit weird?
The Tshirt printer usually prints for people who are selling the shirts to make money - they offer a discount to storeholders which allows Tshirt designers to make a profit on their designs. I have set the profit at zero, so the price reflects a 10% discount on the retail prices of the shirts.

What does postage cost?
Postage within Australia is a flat-rate $8 so if you want to get-together with forumites near you and order together you can save on postage. Internationally, it looks as though postage is about $22.

Who do I thank for this awesomeness?
Everyone who workshopped the slogan and design, and Feebes for additional support over the last month or so while I work this out. Feebes and I have looked at the website, and I think it should work pretty well, but please let me know if there are any problems.

It looks like there are volume discounts as well, so getting together with others to make a bulk purchase makes sense in more ways than one.

So, if anyone in Brisbane wants to order together, let me know.

Woo, how thin/thick is the fabric? In other words are they slightly see through and will I need to wear a singlet underneath? lol

It will be August in Melbourne hun. You may need to wear something underneath for warmth!!

Definitely - the fabric is not see through unless it is stretched - so it is a fair quality, particularly for the price.

But you will need something underneath, for sure!

Feebes
Sure thing Feebes - if you want it, it is all yours. You will have to go through the Group Project approval process, and you will need to increase the price a little to deliver a return for your group. Let me know and I can hand over the admin rights to you.

And everyone else - get your order in now, before Feebes starts her group project empire
