Forum Moderator Positions Available – Expressions of Interest Wanted
Do you enjoy using our popular and supportive online discussion Forum?
Would you like to join the team that keeps our Forum such a safe, supportive place for mothers and other community members?
The Forum Working Group is currently seeking new members for our team of moderators and we are inviting you to join!
Moderating on the Forum is a great way to contribute to the Australian Breastfeeding Association as a volunteer, and is also very flexible as you can log on whenever you have the time.
Be warned – the Forum can become addictive!
Trainees who live in a geographically isolated area, or who find it difficult to attend face-to-face meetings may find the Forum beneficial as they develop their counselling skills and ABA knowledge, and experienced ABA volunteers are very welcome to add their valuable wisdom to our Forum community.
Position requirements include:
ABA financial membership;
Certificate IV in Breastfeeding Education (Counselling or Community) or equivalent ABA recognised qualification; OR
Enrolled in the above qualifications, having completed the unit VBQU291 Promote and represent the organisation plus any two other units*;
At least three (3) months as a registered member of the Forum**;
Regular access to the Internet
If you would like to apply to join the team, or would like more information about what is involved, please email us at email@example.com
Please tell us how you meet the above criteria, your Forum account name and your group, region and Branch.
If you would like to apply, but want to know more about what we do, feel free to visit the Forum at http://www.lrc.asn.au/forum/ and have a look around the boards.
