My brother - trigger

Post by snowie » Sat Aug 31, 2013 9:42 pm

Where to start? The inevitable has happened - my brother has passed away.

So very sad and so very angry at the same time. I'd love to get my hands on the 'people' who gave him the LSD that resulted in a bad trip 20 years ago, but that's just pointless. Or how about the 'boys' that had him experimenting with inhaling butane or any other number of illegal drugs. Oh, that would just be pointless too. Too bad it all led to major mental health issues for the last 20 years. Or how about the final stuff up in the Mental Health system and contracted accommodation that led my brother to believe that NOBODY absolutely NOBODY cared about him so he in his distressed state (he tried to contact me, but was told NO by someone I don't know who) tried to unsuccessfully take his life and gave him a severe brain injury. Which lead to Palliative care and the harrowing past week.

Rest in peace my darling brother. I wish life could have had a better outcome for you. You deserved so much more, you were so talented, but your health issues were such that you weren't able to blossom to your fullest potential. I will miss you as will all your family.

Huge hugs snowie. I have some idea of what you're going through; the losses of siblings have been among the most significant things I have ever experienced. Thinking of you.
