Farewell Good Friend

Post by Jan » Mon Jul 01, 2013 8:15 am

We've just found out that a life long friend of the family has died in north Qld along with his best friend.

I need to work out how to explain this to the kids (4.5yo and 3yo) and then work out what we are going to do. I'll have to get some $$ otgether so DH at least can go up there.

He has no relatives left so the police wont let us do anything. I don't know what is going to happen. At least his cats have gone to the RSPCA. I wonder if they will let us have them once things are sorted?

I have not had to deal with death in a long time, I am really sad.

I'm so sorry to hear that :(

Could you call the RSPCA directly if you can take the cats?

Huge hugs and wishes of ease for the journey you have just begun.
I'd also call the RSPCA directly, about the cats.
Did he have a will or express his wishes to anybody? Was anyone close to him that is still around?
More hugs

And now my uncle in law (I guess) has died too. My FILs half-sister's hubby. We were close.

He got sick 3 days ago and now he's gone.

They say things go in threes so please not this time.
