He's forgotten how.

Post by Bailey's Mum » Sat Mar 08, 2014 8:56 am

DS4 asked for a bf today. He weaned in about July last year. He couldn't do it. Even when I told him to open his mouth. It was quite funny to watch him - he got very cross. But we had a talk about how he decided he was a big boy and didn't need milk any more, so we'd leave it at that.

And then he said, "I just want to see your boobies again."

 At least he's honest, I suppose.

!!@!booby

So then we talked about how breasts are usually covered because they are private parts, and not for general viewing.

It's lovely that he remembers :smt060 breastfeeding. DD weaned just before her 5th Birthday, she hasn't asked again, but has said that she misses the minum.

So this morning's conversation went:

Him: So the milks only make milk when there is a baby, right?
Me: That's right.
Him: Can we get a baby, then? I'd really like a drink of milk.
Me: Well, if there is ever another baby, and milk, you can have some in a cup. How about that?
Him: Yes please. (Pause for thinking time). There are babies at daycare. Can I have milk in a cup tomorrow?
Me: That's not quite how it works, I'm afraid.
