How awesome. DD (11yrs) was talking to me tonight about how they were reading a book in the class today and the word 'breastfeeding' was in the book.

The class was like ewwwlll, but DD was like WTF is ewwwllll!!!

I am so glad that she sees breastfeeding as normal and not in a negative way. Such a shame for the rest of the class though :?

Good for her and good on you! Maybe time to do a talk at the school (there are resources available for you)
It's OK Pluto, I'm not a planet either

That is what I am also thinking. Bummer that I don't have a breastfeeding baby/toddler!

It'd be good to get into the little kids classes and bring in mum for a breastfeed and maybe a bath too??

The earlier they are exposed to breastfeeding, the norm is becomes. Well that has certainly been the case for my other two.
