Pelly, another thing to remember is that the vast majority of ABA's work is in response to requests from mothers who want to know more about breastfeeding or who are asking for help with breastfeeding. With the exception of advocacy work (which is an important part of what ABA does but is only one part) pretty much everything else that ABA does is for women who welcome and have asked for the information. ABAers aren't like the anti-abortionists who are waving signs and plastic dolls on the footpath outside a medical centre pushing a moral agenda. ABA provides evidence based information and mother to mother support to mothers and families who request it.
