introducing Hellouisa

Post by fellare » Wed Aug 19, 2015 12:12 pm

Hellouisa Lot. Hella for short

Born on 10th of Aug at 1.10am

3.8kg
53cm
37cm head

she's absolutely perfect. already gaining weight and happy to just sleep. doing 4h stretches throughout the day! Can't believe she's a week old already, time flies so fast. Ds is pretty happy now, he had a rough start and acted out like crazy.

Beautiful! Gorgeous baby and lovely name. Does it mean something special?

Glad DS is more himself. I've found that my DS1 is having reoccurring troubled times, but is generally adjusting quite well. Think it's about the same age gap as yours.

Its old german for haled widely. Hella is the germanic goddess of fire. Lot is a dutch name, 'thats your lot in life'.

i picked it cause she looks like a hellouisa. I had no idea before her birth.

going well. 8 weeks today and a whole 5.5kg!
she mostly just sleeps and sleeps and sleeps. it's amazing. self settles and everything! sometimes I forget I got a baby. but today I'm pretty brainless, lol. We started traveling again and it's great. I just can't sit still! Hard work, but so rewarding. DS is getting better with it too. he loves his sister. but has developped a severe stutter in the mean time and pretty bad seperation anxiety. I've never seen him panic cause I walk 5m from him!
