Does it help to know that some of super babies stem cells will have crossed into your blood where they help heal your body? All your children will always be part of you.

This has been ENORMOUSLY comforting when I found out about this a few weeks ago. Had a bit of a wallow in self pity last night though. felt like I'd jumped back to 'what the hell happened to me' and the no physical evidence thing.

I don't think that knowledge is the ultimate cure for grief, but I'm glad it helps. I find it comforting too.

Ladies, I wanted to thank you all so much for the support that you have me during the miscarriage. One of the overwhelming feelings that I had during that time was one of shock and confusion - I kept thinking time and time again 'What the #$%^ has happened to me'. I was totally blindsided. Telling my story over and over and over has really helped me come to terms with what happened, it's been a while since I've felt that shock and confusion. I now feel that I've come to terms with what happened, that by telling my story again and again I've made it into something that my brain can grasp and understand. I've felt for a while now that this is something that has happened to me (ie in the past) not something that is happening to me any more, something that I'm right in the middle of.

Someone told me IRL that she had heard the stat that people how had been through abusive situations needed to tell their story fresh at least 12 times? (I think) and that the same applies to traumatic situations (and I consider mine to be that). I have no idea about the actual stat or its reliability or anything, but that was definitely an important thing for me, to be able to tell my story over and over again. I don't really feel the need to do that any more, which to me shows that that need has been met.

Thank you all x
