First Trimester Discussion

Ever feel that you would like to be able to ask some questions and have a
chat without feeling that you have to defend your choice to do things the
way you feel comfortable? Discuss your desires, aims and ask your questions
of other Mums here. If you need medical advice, please ask your medical
adviser, we aren't qualified to help you in that department and our Code of
Ethics for ABA means we do not discuss Health Professionals or Hospitals by
name. (Everyone's experiences are different and what may not agree with one
person, may be totally agreeable to another.)

Hi Penguin,
Nice to see you here.

I have booked into a dating US. The earliest they can get me in is 21/07. I will be 8+3.

I am a bit anxious I have to wait longer but the plus side is that it will be less than 4 weeks til the 12 week scan from then.

I can probably do that. I am actually quite relaxed. A dating scan is not going to make a foetus viable or not viable. It will not change the outcome. Sure it would be nice to know but it still would not change the outcome.
It is 2 weeks away from now and i figure my time will be filled up with my foot appointments, DS2's surgery and last minute conference prep.

Not that my nausea would even be a patch on yours Penguin, but I loathe DS2's early morning in bed feeds. I get a horrendous wave of nausea and was to push him off but his tantrums make it not worth my while.

This too shall pass.

Hi all! Here and 8 weeks pregnant. Finding the nausea comforting (hormones doing their thing) but quite debilitating by evening. Kind of dreading the huge trip to Melbourne for conference now, tbh. :-(

Yeah, it definitely started up pretty early for me both times - just before 5 weeks. Hope yours passes quickly. xx
