Third Trimester Discussion

Ever feel that you would like to be able to ask some questions and have a
chat without feeling that you have to defend your choice to do things the
way you feel comfortable? Discuss your desires, aims and ask your questions
of other Mums here. If you need medical advice, please ask your medical
adviser, we aren't qualified to help you in that department and our Code of
Ethics for ABA means we do not discuss Health Professionals or Hospitals by
name. (Everyone's experiences are different and what may not agree with one
person, may be totally agreeable to another.)

I got all excited that there was something new to read!!
I'm going to see my gp tomorrow for my weekly checkup. This is the last week my ob is on holidays. I had booked an appointment with one of her associates, but he is away this week, so since I'm healthy, have seen the endincrinologist about the GD today, tis ok to see gp!!
DH has decided that if we ever do try for a number 3, we're going public. Just too many specialists at this stage of pregnancy!

31 weeks along here...I have another cold, that seems to have morphed into a sinus infection argh! I don't want to go to the GP, because they will just try to give me antbiotics, which never seem to help much and lead to a case of thrush that will be worse that the sinus infection anyway...

catch 22!!

I'm sticking with the homeopathic sinus spray and panadol I think. As soon as DS picks up a small case of the sniffles from day care I seem to get it in a much worse form!

I am in the third tri waiting for MW to ring me and tell me if I am GBS+ like last time or NOT and see how anaemic I am, think I am negative on both counts...

I am in bed with the laptop and DD will KILL me later when she dicovers I have eaten her chocolate bunny MUST get a replacement asap before she notices, MIMO doing anything today? Choc and a cuppa? DD in daycare ;)..

All going well, I am feeling great, had bad wind in lower belly/back last night and thought OMG this is it, only to fart ten mins later.....what an idiot....

Apart from that nowt new here....

Hi 3rd tri Mummies! :)

I am 32.5 weeks along and cruising - feel wonderful.

My middie appointments are every 2 weeks now so I see my midwife again on Thursday and don't expect anything extraordinary to happen!

I have elected NOT to have a 2nd GTT and am quite content with that decision. I am not particularly looking forward to explaining my decision to the hospy Ob. I have to see at 38 weeks but given my decision is based on a lot of reading and research I'm not too worried and my middie will be with me for back up! ;)

Hi ladies! Also still here... Can't tell you how many times I wished that I'd go into labour... :( But then again - wouldn't want bub to be born prem. I am just so desperate to NOT BE pregnant anymore! Damn that sounds selfish...

Everyone keeps telling me - it's not too long now (2.5 weeks) - but they're not the ones carrying the baby around 27/7!!!!! I am aching all over, I'm super irritable, uncomfortable and poor DD is suffering because of it. AARRRGGGHHH!!!!

Sorry, I'm such a whinger.

Just reading for the vicarious thrill

Michansam - hell no, if you have GD and go public in this city, it's WORSE! (I have an endocrine condition, and ended up some weeks with up to 4 appointments, often on different days, meaning hours out of every day spent at cattle call). Just a thought to cheer you...

:smt056 Missyloo. Hope you are feeling better soon. I'm guessing you've got extra pressure on your stomach! But ugh.

Thanks BM, it's worse  sigh. oh well it's unlikely we'd go this path again. As I told my sister yesterday: too old, too tired, too many needles!!!

:smt056 TM. Hope you get lots of rest which makes the rest of it just a little easier.

This is what I was thinking too. My morning sickness comes back from about 32 weeks until the end but it's not technically ms but more just random vomiting. Touch wood it hasn't happened this time save for a few random vomits now and then.

I had a middie appointment this morning - gosh I love her! Baby is laying with its spine along my right side - so still not optimal but plenty of time to move. I'm almost 33 weeks. Head is "locked and loaded"!! Still could shift out but she said she couldn't make the baby's head "float" at all.

Isabelle really loved listening to the heartbeat but Sammy couldn't have cared less and played out on the tramp the whole time!

I've booked in for a fear release with my hippobirthing trainer and really looking forward to that.
