Really feeling disheartened that I only have my mum to rely on for babysitting. Means she now misses all school presentations etc. She is also about to start full time work and I hate burdening her every other day to look after my kids. Really can't afford a baby sitter especially when most want upwards of $20 pH for sleeping kids

*Sigh*

All I do at work is organise, arrange blah blah.

I am organising this Sunday's Regional Day and its the last thing that I really want to do.

Ho hum, but it'll be good for the ABA studies.

How does one get their ABA mojo back? Working 5 days a week at the moment, by the time I leave work I got nothing left to give, well mentally anyway.

:?

I guess trying to get into ABA stuff when possible? Get into some of the study may help? Talking to a mentor? Are you aware the course is due to change?

Feebes I did loads of my training during my lunch break. It wasn't much of a lunch break, but five minutes for a sandwich then 25 mins of coursework and I did get through a fair bit. I don't know if you are in the habit of taking a lunch break, but you know you should!

Branch conference or training days always help me get enthused again. If you don't have one coming up can you organise a coffee catch up with another trainee or volunteer?

It's a regular review of the course that is required due to the regulations governing RTOs (of which ABA is one) and the accreditation of courses offered. When the last review was undertaken, there were some changes but for trainees in the midst of their training, these weren't showstoppers by any means. Your best bet is to keep chipping away at the course you're currently enrolled in, and check in with your trainer/assessor if any changes look like they'll impact you. :-)

Dear fu%&face,

I wish a hangover was the reason i felt crap. How about you toughen up.

It makes me devastated that my kids are going to be left with an unresilient parent. You should be ashamed of how self indulgent you are.

Hugs Andy. I'd be devastated too. He is behaving like a child.

I'm taking a break from social media so for anyone who is on my Facebook list who didn't see my message, I haven't unfriended you! I have deactivated my account for a bit. I'm trying to limit my screen time. I'm loving the freedom!
