I didn't realise LM Montgomery wrote adult books! I have heaps of hers from childhood stored at my inlaws, I loved them all so much, I keep very, very few books, as I almost never re-read. Going to have to check out all of her works now...

And can't say I have a favourite book, have only read junk the last few years. And rarely really remember much about them.

Do you mean the cover - ie an interesting hardback design or an ornate cover of a holy book?

Which possession. Eg which piece of paper, cardboard and ink.

Eg mine is a cookbook ( ) that I got last week which is signed by the author. I love it because it remind me of fun things and dear things, and the friend who was with me when I got it. I may never make anything from it but it's the most loved book that I own.

One is in illustrated Rubayat if Omar Khyam that my grandmother in law gave me, given to her by her husband when they got married.

The other for purely asthetic reasons is a chippy of the never ending story in green and red ink based on the actual story that says the book Sebastian was reading was written in red and green ink. It is very beautiful.

Ohhh, that edition! It was special to me too, i had it on loan and overdue from the local library for years! (Then I became a librarian and realised its not a neverending story if only one person reads it, and returned it).
