Maif breaches

Post by Penguin » Mon Apr 14, 2014 11:49 pm

Am I correct in thinking that MAIF breaches now cannot be reported to anyone since the APMAIF was scrapped?

Not sure. I think they can be reported, its just not to the advisory panel, so they could be reported to someone else higher up, its just theres no one monitoring it....I think...

I just found a form that says to send it to the department of health, but I don' tknow if it's current or not. Or what they would do about it.

I'd send it straight to the Health Minister Penguin - details should be on the Parliament House website.

I did find this too

What happens to the complaint now there is no APMAIF ?
The Department is working with industry to establish new arrangements. Once this has been finalised, the process will be detailed in this section. Check this link later in 2014 to find out the details.

Indeed.

I often find it quite mindboggling the amount of time/ energy/ stress/ advice that goes into getting babies to sleep 'properly' - getting the small one to sleep is child's play compared to getting myself to sleep!
