This link explains the MAIF well, and has a link to the actual Agreement.

It says what it is and what it does.

It covers the differences between the MAIF and the WHO Code.

It says who can make complaints to the panel - which is anyone!

It says who is on the panel - four people. It meets quarterly.

The Actual Agreement can be seen here:

Thanks Chandra!

That is a great link! There's even a printable complaint form. It's actually a very simple process to lodge any concerns/complaints!

Can anyone find the MAIF agreement online now? I can only find the brochure telling us about the advisory panel. The department is updating their website and has been for a while so I am sure that is the problem.

If you can find it, could you post a link. If noone can find it I will contact the department and ask/complain (nicely!!)

The Dept of Health & Ageing is about to conduct a review of the MAIF and its advisory panel.

I got a letter today asking me to complete a survey, because I have complained about a possible breach in the past.

If you haven't got your letter yet, or would like to participate you can find the survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NousGroup ... -Review_ws.

The contact person I was given with my letter is Mr Michael Rodda, Assistant Director, Health Children Health Workers Section, Health Living Branch, Dept Health & Ageing (02) 6289 2506.
So long everyone! Thanks for everything :-D
