I fed my 2 day old DS at the local shops today!! feeling rather proud we made it out of the house and to the shops and home again, we also went to visit my work to show him off :D (DH is around to help too, so it wasn't just me by myself and DS :D )

We got lots of smiles which was nice :D

I fed on a plane, which, if you haven't done it before, is not easy with a long 19month old squished up against a stranger. Kept him quiet and happy though and that's the main thing:)

This topic caught my attention.

My son seems to get hungry mid way through our visits to the Big W . I have fed him at least three times now whilst looking at baby socks. I have had one or two funny looks :)

I fed him once in the Woolworths.......very awkward as he was getting heavy and I near exposed myself trying to get him back into the baby carrier and then he wailed so loud because he wanted to comfort suck himself to sleep. A couple noticed and congratulated me on feeding him and not worrying about what others may think.

I was just wondering if there was a thread about this. I can add to my list that I've now breastfed at a wedding (about 10 minutes before the ceremony) and at the dinner table of the reception!

After nearly 4 years of Breastfeeding, today I ended up feeding ds while sitting on a toilet (not mine).

We're having bathroom renovations done, and I was at a plumbing shop...'twas the only place to sit 8) :smt005

High up in the freezing cold on the chair lift at thredbo. On the way up he screamed the whole way (poor dh! I was with ds1 on a different chair). So I took ds2 on the way down and fed him in the ergo. Peace and quiet and a spectacular view!
