in the supermarket, when we were getting groceries. the isle DH was in was crowded so i stayed at end isle, as i had pram and bub, DH had trolley and DD. Apparently a lady made a comment about it being inappropriate to BF in a supermarket. I didn't hear or i would have said it was the perfect place, as it's a food store :) DH wanted her to keep making comments so he could pipe up with something, but i think she realised he was with me and stopped her ramble.

shame really as if someone was bottle feeding i doubt she would have commented

at the swimming pool while DH is with DD having lesson. and just wherever we are that he needs a feed :)
I was storked by the lovely ESTHER :)

In the past couple of weeks I've fed James at playgroup with the 1st graders watching, at the shops and at the cowboys vs tigers game the other night.

In the car on the side of the road.

In a lovely little patisserie after the owner came over to say hello to T. She was surprised about his age given his size and asked if I was bfing and said well done when I said yes! He then had a feed (and I looked up and saw the breastfeeding welcome sign on the door).

At Kidsafe, in the office and again in the car after his new car seat was fitted.

In Hyde Park. He pulled off just as I let down and milk shot out. Lucky there wasn't anyone too close by!

And tomorrow in front of a lecture theatre of med students!

On a bench in a shopping centre in a nearby NSW town. An elderly man who had been sitting on the bench was most disgusted - made lots of tut-tut noises and turned his back on me. I don't remember being embarrassed bf in public often before

Oh, and at our toddler music group - loads of dads who didn't know where to look either, and at least one other bf toddler :-D

I have discovered the joy of feeding with my DS3 in a sling, so I have been feeding him on the go alot- walking around the museum, botanical gardens, supermarket, various walking tracks, a couple of parks, DS1's school (hmmm I think that is it for this week).
Mum to 3 beautiful boys and another baby on the way. Happily storked by MummaMagoo :)
