Dr. Phil

Post by Feebes » Fri Oct 14, 2011 11:05 am

What is with this guy, I can't stand the man. His voice is so grating and you would think that he is 'God' the way that he knows everything and thinks that its his way or the highway.

He sh!ts me to tears!

Also, Dr Phil is a psychologist with a PhD NOT a psychiatrist! I know that PhD's legitimately entitle the owner to using the title 'Dr' but it is clearly misleading when you are working in health to not be clear on that.
He has been involved in a sexual harrassment scandal and apparently there were domestic issues with his first wife.
He has done some outrageously unethical things in the name of his show. Have a squizz at Wikipedia if you can be bothered.
I have seen some episodes of Dr Phil that I believe constitute child abuse in as far as the private issues of underage children that he will discuss, berate and air. Same goes for what he does to people who may not be 'of sound mind' also.
The man in a germ in my opinion.

Don't watch it then! I didn't know he was still on tv actually! I didn't know he'd been married before either, he must have been really young, I thought he and his wife had been together forever.

I love to hate the show.
I saw him bullying a preggers 16yr old into giving away her baby the other week. I was like  . I love to be outraged.
