Hi everyone,
Just a quick update!

We are all doing well. Addison is having 9 feeds a day minimum and my milk is increasing more and more.
Its so nice to see milk spill out her mouth hehe :D

Cooper spent a night in hosp - i couldnt bare to leave him so i stayed in hosp and Addison roomed in overnight so i could bf her. Shayne had her at home through the day and kept bringing her up for feeds.

Im expressing every now and then when i feel Addison isnt that hungry and doesnt have a good feed from me. So im also getting a tidy lot of EBM in the freezer.

Never thought i would have come this far!

Hi everyone :D

Thought id pop in and give an update!!
Addison is thriving. Her weight gains are small but steady and she is very happy and content.
I cant believe she is 5mo now! Where on earth has the time gone.

Very happy to say that Addison is still fully bf and im starting to wean off the prescription medication.
She is demand fed and if she is happy snoozing away i will express rather than waking her.
We are averaging 9 feeds a day and she is still content to sleep overnight so i let her be.

I have a freezer full of milk and have even started giving some expressed EBM to my 2.5yo.

What a sucess story!!!

Hi everyone,
Thought id pop on here and let you all know how Addison and i are going. Its been awhile!!
Addison will be 7mo on the 17th - we are happily bf still :)
She feeds on demand and of late has become such a little boobie girl. Sometimes she will feed up to 20 times a day. Other day maybe 6 or 7.
We have recently started BLW so every now and then she will sit up with us and have some steamed vegies also.

Ive decided to write up our Relactation Journey when i have some spare time.
Im not sure what i will do with it but i would hope it would give others some hope that relactation will work for them :D

Good to hear from you Sammi!!!
I am sure that the editors of Essence would be interested in your story.
And, I give talks to health professionals about relactation from time to time and would love to be able to add your experience to the stories I share.
