Ooh, lovely! I can just picture her lying underneath her little sister, legs only just sticking out! (I'm sure she's bigger than that, but that's what I'm imagining!) I'm sure the baby sitter was a bit surprised!

DD1 and the babysitter :-)

Postby Esther » Mon Feb 18, 2013 9:46 am

Think the (very experienced and lovely) babysitter from last night learnt a few things from DD1.

dD1 was a bit surprised that babysitter tried to feed DD2 and pointed out politely that DD2 was perfectly capable of eating and drinking her own food and drink.

DD1 also soothed DD2 when she wouldn't go to sleep for the babysitter by lying on our bed with DD2 on her chest.

Think I've got the makings of a good babysitter there! Although if your baby is spoon-fed and self-settles in a cot, she may be just as confuzzled as last night's babysitter.

The babysitter thought they were all lovely children, but DD1 was brilliant :-D

Ahhh, so confusing

Now DD1 has seen a few extra babysitters come round for quick visits in the last few days. This morning she was told one was coming around this a'noon. She sighed and said 'Does she know anything about babies??'

Sounds great! A good babysitter is a wonderful thing. We have a lovely lady who picks up Oobiwoo from school two days a week and we are so grateful to have her.
It's OK Pluto, I'm not a planet either
