Breastfeeding statues

Post by Mummy Latte » Mon Dec 22, 2014 11:03 pm

Some of these photos are great. I love that breastfeeding is slowly getting more coverage in the media. The second one made me giggle. ... s-20141222

I saw them last night. How funny was the one with the woman juggling fifteen or so little babies like puppies?

And in one of them baby Jesus(?) looked like a cheeky toddler about to take a chomp or pull the nipple around so he could watch TV better while feeding!

Love it. I especially like the last one (the peasant woman). And I think there is some tandem feeding non-siblings going on! Mary is feeding Jesus, but it totally looks like John the Baptist has just popped off!

There's a fountain in Launceston with statues - one of the nymphs is just begging for an ABA-teal nursing bra and a bronze-dipped baby doll IMO. World Breastfeeding Week prank, perhaps?
