Healthy breast-milk

Post by marissapaul » Wed Jul 13, 2016 3:23 pm

What special care do I have to take to keep my breast-milk healthiest? Will be delivering my baby soon, due date by the end of this month. Want to prepare before hand.

Please suggest.

Thanks.

Hi marissapaul and welcome to the forum! I am due at the end of the month too :D

There are a couple of articles that may help answer your question...

https://www.breastfeeding.asn.au/bfinfo ... or-fiction Near the bottom of this FAQ page it explains that you don't need a perfect diet to breastfeed.

https://www.breastfeeding.asn.au/bf-inf ... s–mum/diet This article is also a good one. In short, a healthy well balanced diet is the best thing for keeping you healthy. Your body will produce healthy milk regardless.

Hope that helps! Good luck with the arrival of your baby, feel free to ask lots of questions on here :-D
