Re: The Power of One

It's a tough movie to watch. I've seen it once. Pretty sure I've read the book too.
I don't remember the scene unfortunately.

Re: Congrats Cloud Nine

Congratulations CN. :smt026 Welcome to the world little one :smt007 :smt007 We also had a rough start to breastfeeding here after a lovely home birth - turns out DD2 had an upper lip tie, which was released at 14 months old. I also suspect she has a very deep posterior tongue tie. Some thoughts - br...

Re: Toddler with Hand foot and mouth disease

Well it seems she must be feeling much better. My !!@!booby were not sore this morning, she's fed overnight! Hooray.
Thanks for all your feedback. I think she understood that her mouth was sore that was the issue rather than breastfeeding being the issue, if you know what I mean.

Re: Completely and utterly bonkers!

You sound so very organised! My packing tends to be last minute too - although now I do make lists based on my unorganised experience.
When DH and I were first married, we managed to go camping in Girraween NP with no blankets in early spring. We froze! It was a most unpleasant night.

Re: Toddler with Hand foot and mouth disease

Thanks for your reply, I've resorted to cold foods, custard, ice cream, frozen watery cordial ice blocks and yes mummy milk ice blocks. She's accepted everything but the mummy milk ice blocks. And thanks for the reminder to look after myself. I've been trying to get rest as much as possible -...

Toddler with Hand foot and mouth disease

So my 22 month old toddler, who feeds about 5 - 6 times a day (including a couple of times over night, and anytime I might choose to sit down at the computer) has caught hand foot and mouth disease. She's been unwell for a few days now. I had to express this morning because my breasts were painfully...

That sounds terrible. Are you able to speak to your current HPs if you feel you need to see a doctor? (or were they not available?)

Blessing way for chiggins

A thread for us all to wish chiggins all the best Sending stay put vibes to your bubba: it's much nicer on the inside little one - stay put for a little while longer. When the right time comes I hope your birth is a beautiful experience and that the early days are blessed with lots of sleepy milky s...
