Re: Getting disheartened

Hi Ariasmum Welcome to the forum and well done for breastfeeding and pumping for your little one for all these months. You have overcome challenges most of us can't fathom. Breastmilk feeding must be very important to you for you to have persisted this long. You didn't say whether you expect to be a...

Re: One of our own

Thanks for sharing all of that Feebes. I knew F&O was a special friend to you, but I didn't know how far back you went.

I remember the red boots when your Charlotte was born :)

Re: I've decided to have my breasts removed.

Wow pseudo - that is a huge decision. It sounds as though you are feeling good to have decided what to do though - am I right? What will the recovery be like? I know it used to be a huge surgery with lots of physical therapy (when my MIL had her mastectomy 30 years ago) - is it still like that? All ...

Re: Prepping my cosleeping toddler for her own bed

Just moved my little fellow into his own bed tonight. He turned ten just recently. He moves into my bed when he is sick and back out to his own bed about two weeks after he gets better - usually takes a month in total! So obviously I am no expert!! One of the things we have found helpful with all ki...

Re: Book week!

There were some kids dressed as harlequin (or whatever the spelling)....a crayon.....books and movies don't bother me.....anyway..... They are very st...

Re: Nice things to do for oneself

Holy #$%^. I just watched Janet King as my nice thing. It was @#$%^&* BRILLIANT but now I have to go to bed and my heartrate is literally over 100bmp. And Marta Dusseldorp retweeted my gushing tweet. That's hardly helping me calm down lol. You are such a fangirl!! Glad you enjoyed it. I'll be catch...

Middle of next term.

Last two years Oobiwoo went as Voldemort, wearing a black cape (one of my questionable teenage fashion choices) over his school uniform. I'm pleased he is a bit more engaged this year.

Book week!

Every year I get caught out by book week. This year the kids are right into planning for it and I'll be stuck in a shopping centre for two hours this afternoon while Mrs Moops is at a playcentre birthday (why oh why hasn't her friend group grown out of those?!) Anyhoo, this year we have a plan: Oobi...
