Re: Andypandys support thread

Lovely ideas already. Just thought I'd mention that there is an app which helps you to create interviews and record life stories. It also gives you a load of questions to ask to get an interview happening and flowing. I downloaded it the other day, not sure exactly how it works yet, but it has heaps...

Re: Andypandys support thread

Hi Andy, I'm not sure if you'll remember me, I haven't popped in in ages. But I wanted to come back and say that when I was a struggling and terrified new mum it was your 'voice', along with those of the other regular forumites, that gave me so much comfort. I am sure that I am not alone in that. I ...

Re: Alternatives to repeating myself eight hundred times

We play a game at the moment. I started saying 'where's this one going....maybe it's filling up your big toe?' And LO gets all excited and eats it, then we do the other toe, ankles, knees, etc etc. sometimes it rather hilarious goes to her bum! Anyway, we do that and steadily the food goes in...

Re: Milk blister?

Ok, thanks JMc and Gwen's Mum, I'll give that a go.
Is it weird that it doesn't actually hurt, like no blocked duct feeling at all?

Re: Milk blister?

Thanks JMc. Sorry, I have no idea about these things!
Do I just rub it with the washer? What should I expect? Should the top come away like a scab?

Re: Doctor or dentist?

Dentist first. If you can't get into one then see a GP. It's best for the dentist to see the infection in action to diagnose the underlying tooth problem.

Milk blister?

I think I have a milk blister. It's a small (1mm diameter) irregular white circle on my nipple. Its been there for about two weeks and has a slightly scabby feel to the surface. It's not painful when I feed, but randomly has a slight sting. I picked at it a bit and tried half heartedly hand expressi...

Re: Chocolate

We got loads of choccy! Loads. I used to be a dental nurse so I tend to get chocolate guilt when I give it to the kiddies. I let them eat it all at nice and behave terribly and feel ill. The reason is I want to get back to not having chocolate around ASAP. Also it's dentally better to have one big b...

Get stuff done! Hahahahahahaha. Hahahahahahaha

There is a reason I don't have visitors around and I left my neighbour on the front step the other night. No one can see the interior of this house!

Re: New to Razorback near Camden

Yes! The Camden Wollondily group is really nice! I've only been a few times, it always clashes with my plans for some reason.
Myself and another forum member live very nearby Razorback. It's a great area. Feel free to PM me for anything at all :)

Re: Being manipulated by a child.

1. Yes. My almost three year old will deliberately turn on the tears, without actually crying, but making all the sounds and faces to get what she wants. It's hilariously infuriating. To me, I can pick a definite difference between her actually needing something (genuine upset, or hurt) and her pret...

Re: Comp feeding Successs Stories Please

Hi Twocam, I always felt guilty too! It's a horrid feeling. I'm really glad things are working well with you and the SNS. I was never able to reduce the size of the comps. With my first when I used bottles I had to increase them quite a lot by the end. But with my second using the SNS, after the ini...

Re: How important is what you do?

For me it's everything. I worked for 10 years in a job I fell into after high school. I was very friendly with the boss and his family and it became like comfy slippers (or my favourite bra!)...very hard to throw out, even when it was time. Then a tragedy occurred and I lost a very good friend and I...
