Re: I am not

It does sometimes feel overwhelming being a mum with 3 children. It's taken me about 18 months to feel back on top of things in the same way I did before I got pregnant with DS3, so it is partly a season. But also, at some point you just have to take some time back. It also sounds a bit like you go ...

Re: What if?

You are awesome Penguin! So much hard work has been done to get to this point, it's so good to hear you're feeling ready for the challenge of the school year. And, yeah, I can't imagine how much worse last year must have been starting it with meningitis as well as everything else. Hopefully this yea...

Re: Overlocker encouragement needed

Overlockers scare me after some terrible experiences in year 8 sewing class. But, I've recently discovered my sewing teacher was wrong and actually I can make stuff with a sewing machine, so I don't think they must be all that bad, I think it was just her. So I think go for it - use some older thing...

Re: DS diagnosed with congenital heart disease

Sorry to hear this pseudo xx

It sounds like you've had a crappy year, hoping the support forums are a better source of positive information than google (which is always, always terrible)

Re: Dear dickhead

It sounds like your FIL is a douche. Sending hugs your way, and hopes that he will decide (albeit unlikely) to not be a douche. Hopefully the rest of your support crew are more supportive than he is xx

Re: fabric for dress trial

I've been using old bedsheets for a lot of my trial stuff lately. Although for most of the things I make I need it to be at least semi-useable as I struggle to make something and then not use it.

Hi! (again)

 :smt006 I've been off busy ABAing and baby wearing and facebooking, but wandered back in and realised how much I'd missed some of you :smt007  I'm winding back ABA stuff in the new year as I start back at uni studying midwifery, and I'd like to wind back some of the Facebook stuff (well,...

Re: Birth journeys book

Ooh, if no-one else wants it, can I have it? I'm done with the baby making stuff, but would be interested to read it, and my younger sister may find it helpful in the next little bit ;)

Re: Breastfeeding after feeding tube

I've been trying to think of anyone who might fit this. The only one I can think of might be parla, but I'm not really sure. I know from the reading I did a while ago of bf management that a feeding tube is considered better than a bottle for bf outcomes, but I don't know much about it in practice. ...
