Re: Apart for 48 plus hours

I went to Liquid Gold when DS2 was 23mths and at daycare 3 days a week; my wistful plans that it would be a weaning holiday were just that, wistful! DS2 didn't hesitate to resume feeding on my return. At 28mths I was away for 6 days and didn't need to express at all for comfort while away. This stre...

This is exactly the reason givit.org.au was set up. Originally in Qld but now national. You can check for needed items but also list your own in their virtual warehouse

Re: Certificate of Counselling Practice

No, you need 60 hrs of counselling of which 40 must be Helpline. The rest can be Helpline or other forms (local calls, face to face, email)

Re: Certificate of Counselling Practice

You don't need to do e counselling anymore; it used to be required but in the newly released certificate info it's optional to make up the hours on top of 40 helpline hrs.

Where does milk come from?

Tonight at story time before bed: DS2 (2yrs): "Mummy milk! Muuuummmy miiilk" DH (old enough to know better): "Where does mummy milk come from DS2?" DS1 (4yrs): "Silly ... it comes from her breast-feeders!" I purposely used "mummy milk" as the preferred term over "booby" or some variation on the exac...

It's an opinion and the ruler used to measure it is false. I caught myself using the word still. Jarens still fe...
