Re: Oobiwoo messed up my homework (warning - maths within)

I did one semester of maths at uni before i decided i didn't need it for what i was actually interested in. I begged one of the tutors to tell me what matrices were good for. He came up with code breaking (how many of you do that daily?!) And solving multiple simultaneous equations. But i have no id...

Re: The 2017 declutter thread

I'm clearing out the hall cupboard as part of a looong process to get the spare room ready for the kids to get their own rooms. So, i can add 5 bags of rubbish to my list and when i get to the op shop....10 bags of clothes and a couple if blankets.

Re: Mastitis :/

Yes i did try lechithin on my food but no idea if it helped. I didn't use it consistently tbh. I wonder if the different feeding patterns of my babies as newborns affected my mastitis too. My 1st was a frequent feeder, never more than 2hrs between feeds (often very frequent day and night) while my s...

Re: Mastitis :/

Hi there. Mastitis is awful isnt it?! My experience was that I had repeat bouts of mastitis with first (6 times in 14mths).I don't think it affected our breastfeeding relationship as he really didn't care if i had mastitis and i kept feeding him as normal through each bout (through gritted teeth at ...

Re: Anyone here do big batch cooking?

This is my problem with cooking ahead...our freezer is small. I need a chest freezer but don't really have the space, unless we put it in the garage but then it's working against summer heat in an uninsulated shed and that would make me feel too guilty. So i cook spag bol every couple of weks and fr...

Re: Eat all the food in your house

Does it count as using food if I plant the sprouting sweet potato as an experiment? The sprouting ginger i planted last year is doing well. I'll dig it up when it dies down in winter and see what I get.

Re: Jobs

Great news Lu! Getting an interview is really hard these days. Before a interview, i go back over the job ad to remind myself what skills they are looking for and write down why I'd be great at the job. I try to be specific, with examples from past jobs (paid or volunteer) when i did something well....
