1 year old refusing feeds :(

I'm not ready to wean my baby boy, but he has started refusing feeds. He's never been a good sleeper, he wakes every 3 hours and has been since birth, but since refusing feeds he's been sleeping until 5 am with a dream feed at 10pm and then sleeping until 6:30. Loving the extra sleep, but not the en...

Does it mean it's ok not to boil the water after 6 months? It's been 5 years since I've had a baby, so it feels new again

Thanks for your response Marie, I went to ngala this week, and they told me that my baby has reflux, hence the sleeping issues. He has been put on losec. Hopefully we'll see some changes in the next few weeks when the medicine kicks in. Thanks again

Gurgling belly

Hello everyone, I'm wondering if my son has an allergy, if I'm overfeeding or he possibly still has colic? My 4 month old son has a belly that gurgles a lot... So much that the pain of the gurgling and wind that comes out interrupts a lot of his sleep. I was told all this would stop between 3-4 mont...

Hello Everyone

Hi Everyone, I never thought I'd get this chance again after my marriage of 10 years fell apart, but I have met this wonderful man, who is now my fiance and we are expecting our baby boy on the 29th of May 2013. I'm so excited, yet I feel like I may have forgotten the breastfeeding aspect of things,...

Awww, I'm missing the 'milkies' time too. I've weaned my son a week ago at 2 years and 4 months. Every day before his nap and sleep, he says to me 'milk broken, all gone.' I've told him milk was broken, because I felt it was time to wean now that he sleeps the night. I know a lot of people tandem fe...

My son didn't touch cows milk apart from cereal until he turned 22 months. He went cows milk crazy for about 2 weeks, but is now more interested in drinking his water during the day again. He loves his breastmilk though, he told me the other day that it taste like apple juice hahaha! Who needs flavo...

I wouldn't know where to start and where to go! I'm glad others had answers for you. I just wanted to send you heaps of virtual hugs! *huuuuuugs* I only ever did one night of no feeds with my son to try and wean, but i ended up giving up because I had him screaming like your daughter for 2 hours. It...

WOW 2 YEARS!

I honestly can't believe we've made it this far! My little man is still breastfeeding, and I can't see us stopping anytime soon! Thank you so much for all your support over the 2 years, I couldn't have done it alone. :D

I'm more than happy to keep feeding DD1 - at least if she's having a couple of feeds a day it takes the pressure off a bit when she won't eat (or won't eat healthy food!), and it's also a great backup for when she's sick :) I so agree with you there, I feel the exact same way! I too, have recently ...

So cute!

When asking my son who is 22 months, where's your milk? He lifts his top up and shows me his nipple, and says there! He thinks he can breastfeed too! lol
