I've only ever had it on Christmas cake, that I made in cooking class at high school - so tipping that would be cheap and nasty. And on wedding cakes - both times I have peeled it off lol. I wouldn't mind tasting the "real" stuff. Mind you I do peel the fondant off too, unless it's just a small bit ...

not sure if you have already made your cake yet. You don't need to freeze, putting it in the fridge overnight will suffice. Most cakes will need to be carved - if you are just doing a plain cake you are best to level the top (most cakes will rise in the middle) and turn it over - using the bottom as...

My FS would not allow me to continue breastfeeding when doing a frozen cycle. Apparently if you do a stim cycle the drugs will go through your milk so that is not an option either. For me knowing that I was going to be giving my child the gift of a sibling helped me with weaning. Is there any reason...

We have two dogs at our school, one an older golden retriever and the other a younger failed guide dog. They are both wonderful, the older one is never on lead - but highly trained - loads of letters after his name lol. And the other is always on lead or safe in her pen in the class room. The older ...

each time I have had a general (even a light twilight one) I have been advised to have someone with me for 24 hours. The first time DH just picked me up and stayed home that afternoon, but went to work the next day. One other time I passed out on the toilet & smashed my teeth - good job DH was home ...

check out the school that you are thinking of sending him to it wont hurt. I wouldn't hesitate to change schools if I thought any of my children needed to.

I have the same problem, except this year is worse as now R is being invited to loads of parties too  None of mine are ready for the drop & run, H is nervous with big crowds if I'm not there, he'll get there one day, but for now I just hand around. It does get expensive taking the other kids,...

K has had to have it from about 4 months, initially I had to hold her while doing it but as she has gotten older it's much easier. I would have her sit on my knee with her head against my chest, have one arm coming across her chest & holding the face piece onto her face & then the other hand to pres...

I find that my boys are a bit more passive (even though R was a handful when he was younger) but K is a little Diva. She seems to demand more of everything from everyone lol. I'm not sure if it's just because she is the youngest and has to deal with her brothers & is more confident or if it's girls ...

Hugs, you really have been through a hard time & I think it's very normal to be worried. My friend was told to remember that lightning usually only strikes once with things like this. Ask your GP/OB for scans, blood tests what ever else you think that might help you to get through this time. I'm hop...
